Silicon Waha is a joint-stock company established in 2016 with a sole purpose of spreading futuristic technology parks all over Egypt, giving technology enthusiasts the opportunity to experience Silicon Waha’s technological ecosystem for a future led by technology.

We work with all our participating groups to provide a competitive and attractive environment for innovators, businessmen, local companies, regional and international investors through which we will link the local economy with international trade.

New Borg Al Arab Technology Park

Borg Al Arab city is located 48 km southwest of Alexandria; the city hosts a population of 155 thousand people and planned to host 750 thousand people.

New Assiut Technology Park

New Assiut Technology Park is located in the heart of Upper Egypt, making it a strategic hub for technology and innovation.

New Beni Suef Technology Park

New Beni Suef Technology Park serves as a growing center for ICT businesses, educational institutions, and government entities.

Sadat City Technology Park

Sadat City is 96 km north of Cairo and encloses 5 industrial areas, including around 450 factories for garments, iron, steel, food, and textiles.

Infrastructure

Silicon Waha for Technology Parks is set with the highest quality infrastructure that exceeds market standards. The infrastructure is designed and supervised by with Engineering Consultants Group S.A. (ECG). In addition, it is executed by Wadi El Nile for Contracting & Real Estate Investments.

The infrastructure includes water and sewage system (there is a reserve tank for drinking and firefighting systems with a capacity of 3000 cubic meters and an irrigation tank with a capacity of 1000 cubic meters). In addition, telephones and electricity (the area is fed by two sources for the current with a capacity of 17 megawatts from two different cells, and there are UPS units in addition to generators available in case of blackouts).

Furthermore, in regards to the telecommunication infrastructure all parks include fiber optics connectivity between buildings; as well as, a communications hub provided by Telecom Egypt. In regards to New Borg Al Arab & New Assiut Technology Parks are facilitated by copper, while fiber optics are implemented to cover the outside between the available buildings. New Beni Suef & Sadat City Technology Parks is totally facilitated by fiber optics; as well as the newest GPON technology.
